The Brazil Pavilion

Introduction
                                              Posted by Qian Zhou
The reason why I chose the Brazil as my first pavilion is because that the football team of this country is the most favourite one of mine. In addition, after the successful 2010 FIFA World Cup held in the South Africa, the Brazil is surely aiming to take a next exciting step to create a football kingdom and to present the glamour of football in their own way for the people all over the world. Therefore, I want to help you to step forward and to touch upon the beat and pulse of cities in Brazil.

The tropical-forest-like Brazil Pavilion shows off the cultural diversity and dynamism of Brazilian cities with the theme "Pulsing Cities: Feel the Life of Brazilian Cities." The architectural project of the pavilion was conceived to present visitors with an interactive virtual show, based on audiovisual stimuli using existing models in Brazil, such as the Portuguese Language Museum and Football Museum.

Highlight 1: Virtual Football Game

Displayed on an external LED screen, an interactive football game will be staged with virtual football players. Visitors will be able to control players from their personal cell phones. There will be a number on the screen and a message inviting people to call. Each person who calls will automatically be connected to a player and will be able to move the players to right and left using the cell phone keys, aiming to score goals and win the game.

Highlight 2: Pulsing Cities Room

A large panoramic widescreen made up of four unique horizontal squares marks the main feature of the room and conveys the concept of the pavilion to visitors. Meanwhile, football stars may appear at the pavilion, and games of the Brazilian team at 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa will be broadcast live on screens in the pavilion.
